BIRMINGHAM, MI. (August 1, 2013) - M Group LLC and Coastal Ridge Real Estate have formed a partnership to acquire campus student apartment communities and traditional multi-family communities around the country.  The partnership pursues existing, A/B-level properties in A/B markets and locations, and will consider newly developed properties requiring little renovation, and older properties requiring extensive renovation.  The partnership typically targets properties of 150-1,000 units, and transaction size between $10,000,000-$70,000,000. The principals invest meaningfully in each acquisition and raise the balance of the equity from an extensive network of investors.  The partnership currently owns and operates properties in Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia totaling approximately 2,500 units.
